The Visiting Library Service is a free service for some patrons who may be unable to visit the Bracebridge Library in person.
Patrons may request items such as books, audiobooks, DVDs, and magazines, among other materials. They will be delivered to their home at a pre-arranged time.
Staff who help with deliveries are required to undergo a security screening.

BRACEBRIDGE, ON – Ontario Public Library Week is only a few days away, and the Bracebridge Library is excited to celebrate with you! From October 16 to October 21, the Bracebridge Library has organized lots of fantastic events to show their appreciation for their community and welcome those who are new to the Library. From preschool to seniors, they have something planned for everyone!
Whether you celebrate Ontario Public Library Week by checking out a book, attending an event, or exploring a unique item from their collection, it will be a week you don’t want to miss out on.

Carve out some fun and celebrate OPL Week! Join in on the fall festivities with pumpkin decorating, pumpkin games, and pumpkin snacks. This is a free event and costumes are welcome but not expected. Located at Memorial Park.

To celebrate OPL Week, each morning we will be reading staff favourite stories with a matching craft and in the afternoon we will have STEAM activities based on our favourite books. Magicians and spies, dragons and detectives, you will love these great book inspired activities.

Celebrate Ontario Public Library Week with the screening of “The Public” directed by Emilio Estevez. This film tells the story of how a group of homeless Library users staged peaceful civil disobedience by locking themselves inside the Library to protest the lack of emergency shelters. Movie is rated PG-13. Refreshments provided.
