The Visiting Library Service is a free service for some patrons who may be unable to visit the Bracebridge Library in person.
Patrons may request items such as books, audiobooks, DVDs, and magazines, among other materials. They will be delivered to their home at a pre-arranged time.
Staff who help with deliveries are required to undergo a security screening.

The Bracebridge Library has a PlayStation 4 that can be borrowed for up to one week. It includes the necessary cables and controllers.
A selection of video games is also available to borrow.

The SMPL Music Player is designed to be easy to use.
Music begins playing once the lid is lifted and stops once it is closed. Songs can be changed at the push of a button. It plays any MP3 file, including audiobooks and comes pre-loaded with a selection of big band-era songs.

The Bracebridge Library has a growing tool collection. It includes various items, including slide scanners and automotive code readers.

Light therapy lamps are designed to mimic spring and summer light levels and help treat the “winter blues” or Seasonal Affective Disorder.

The adventure kits available to borrow from the Bracebridge Library include a day-use permit that provides access to many of the parks operated throughout Ontario for one vehicle and its occupants. The kits include a backpack, compass, binoculars, Peterson Field Guide, Muskoka Trails map clip, and an Ontario Parks guide.

The Victor Reader Stratus allows users to access Digital Accessible Information System (DAISY) books, music, and more. It is designed to be user-friendly and has accessible features.

The Starblast 4.5 Altazimuth Reflector Tabletop Telescope is available to borrow from the Bracebridge Library. It allows users to view galaxies far, far away, distant cloudy nebulae, and sparkling star clusters.

The TumbleBook Library has eBooks for young readers across a variety of reading levels. It utilizes interactive stories, animated books, read-a-longs, and puzzles to make reading fun for children.

Playaways are portable, pre-loaded audiobooks. Each Playaway is loaded with one book. They have large buttons and a headphone jack that works with most headphones.
The Libby app offers scalable fonts for most eBooks. Dyslexia-friendly fonts and read-along books for young readers are also available.
Bracebridge Library cardholders with a visual, physical, or learning disability may be eligible for service from the Centre for Equitable Library Access.
