The Visiting Library Service is a free service for some patrons who may be unable to visit the Bracebridge Library in person.
Patrons may request items such as books, audiobooks, DVDs, and magazines, among other materials. They will be delivered to their home at a pre-arranged time.
Staff who help with deliveries are required to undergo a security screening.

All residents or property owners in the District of Muskoka are eligible to sign up for a Bracebridge Library card.
Non-residents may purchase a membership for a $50 annual fee or $25 for six months.
When signing up, one piece of photo identification with the applicant’s current address (like a driver’s license, vehicle registration, hospital card, or utility bill) is required.
Regardless of residence, if a child younger than 14 is signing up for a card, a parent, guardian, or caregiver must accompany them.
Anyone with a valid Bracebridge Library card may use one of the public computers for up to 90 minutes daily.
Guest passes are available at the Information Desk for non-residents.
We do offer faxing out, but unfortunately, we are unable to receive faxes.

You can send your printing to the library from home!
You will be sent an email with an 8-digit code. When you visit the Coulson Family Bracebridge Library, enter the code at the printing payment kiosk and pay for your printing.
After doing that, your files will be printed!
The Bracebridge Library offers free one-on-one tech training in person or online. Staff can help with most questions, including setting up a new tablet or smartphone, learning how to use spreadsheets, getting started on social media, and more.
Tech one-on-one sessions are limited to two monthly appointments per patron.

Digital Accessible Information System (DAISY) Readers are specialized audio devices that allow those who are blind or partially sighted to navigate through a variety of audiobooks. The Bracebridge Library has two DAISY

The kits offered by the Bracebridge Library are designed to provide families with a variety of materials, games, and resources. The creation of these kits was made possible thanks to support from the Friends of the Bracebridge Library.
The SMPL Music Player is designed to be easy-to-use and plays all MP3 files (including audiobooks).
Large print titles include a selection of bestsellers, fiction, and non-fiction.
The Bracebridge Library has a growing collection of dyslexia friendly books.
Audiobooks are available in multiple formats, including CDs, playaways, and eAudiobooks.
