The Youth Crew is for students in Grades 9 to 12 who want to earn volunteer hours or support their local library.

Youth Crew meets every Tuesday from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Bracebridge Library. No registration is required.

The Visiting Library Service is a free service for some patrons who may be unable to visit the Bracebridge Library in person.

Patrons may request items such as books, audiobooks, DVDs, and magazines, among other materials. They will be delivered to their home at a pre-arranged time.

Staff who help with deliveries are required to undergo a security screening.

Register now for free income tax clinics

The Community Volunteer Income Tax Clinic is a program offered by the District of Muskoka. It provides free tax preparation services for individuals and families.

The Bracebridge Library is one of nine locations that will be offering free tax clinics through the District of Muskoka.

The clinics are being held in March and April for individuals and families who are residents of Muskoka. Before booking a session, a screening questionnaire will be done to determine eligibility.

The schedule for the clinics is:

Anyone wanting to sign up must call 705-645-4171, extension 3806, or visit the library in-person at 34 Salmon Avenue to book a time. Each session will be 30 minutes.

Three volunteers will be available for the first five sessions with an additional person joining for the final two clinics.
